Junior Systems Accountant

Interesting new opportunity available for an innovative individual who is keen to work in a more technical area of Finance.  The successful applicant will join the Finance team of a leading professional services firm, and will support financial systems, system configuration changes and enhancements.  This will include managing and maintaining systems, reviewing performance and identifying any issues, troubleshooting and fixing finance-related issues, training and supporting colleagues, and supporting with audit and statutory accounts preparation.  You'll also be involved in any system upgrades, preparation of presentations and ad hoc projects to support the finance function. 

Candidates should have broad accounting systems knowledge, with experience in a professional services environment and working knowledge of financial reporting systems. Strong communication skills are a must, as the role will involve regular collaboration with stakeholders across the business, as well as training and assisting team members. A pro-active approach is key, along with energy, enthusiasm and a desire to learn.
