Data Protection Officer

Rare opportunity to join an award winning firm as their designated global Data Protection Officer, to oversee and support all company wide activity. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of compliance by leading training initiatives, ensuring policy adherence, advising on effective data risk management and embedding data protection into day to day operations. 

The successful candidate will need to have significant experience working in a compliance, legal, risk or operational control function, with a focus on data protection, and strong knowledge of DP laws and regulations in the UK, Channel Islands and wider EU. You will need experience in drafting and delivering training to senior management, and experience in assessing and developing DP frameworks for a large and complex professional services organisation.
