Data Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineer to take on an exciting new challenge within our client's in-house Data team within Information Services!

Joining a busy and friendly team, the successful candidate will be tasked with a varied and interesting workload where you will contribute to designing, creating and deploying enterprise-scale data analytics solutions, playing an important role in transforming data into valuable insights that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in data warehousing concepts with confident SQL proficiency and experience with cloud data platforms. An understanding of DataOps or DevOps practices is required along with familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools.

Our client is flexible and is happy to consider applicants from a variety of backgrounds, whether that be from a traditional data engineering background, transitioning from software engineering, stepping up from a data analyst role, or bringing a unique perspective from another technical field - if you're excited about data engineering and have a strong foundation in the skills/experience required then we'd love to hear from you!
