Technical Underwriting Lead

Our client is seeking an individual to head up their Technical Underwriting function ensuring that all decisions are made within agreed Delegated Authorities, supporting profitable growth and long-term  performance in line with financial targets. The successful candidate will work closely with providers to shape and deliver suitable, commercially viable insurance products as well as oversee the  organisation’s underwriting philosophy, risk appetite, risk selection and pricing strategy. 

Along with relevant experience, applicants must have a strong understanding of delegated authority governance, compliance and portfolio performance management. A decisive and team oriented approach is essential along with an analytical mindset and a high level of accuracy.
