Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a privately owned Trust & Family Office firm, is expanding their in-house Legal team, and seeking both a Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel.

The team advise and guide on legal and regulatory matters across the company, providing legal advice to the Board and senior management, and working closely with client-facing teams and external advisors to assist with any legal matters that arise in the general administration of complex, high value trust and fiduciary structures. 

Candidates will need previous experience in private practice or in-house legal within a similar trust business, with a goo understanding of JFSC requirements, and knowledge of trust and company law, UK tax law (ideally) and fiduciary structures and functions. You'll need strong analytical and problem solving skills, adaptability, and the willingness to learn and stay constantly abreast of new developments in legislation or regulations.
