Business Development Manager - Corporate & Funds

Our client is seeking a commercially minded Business Development professional to join its Corporate & Investment Funds team.

Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development to drive revenue growth, deliver focused business development plans, strengthen client relationships, and identify new opportunities across key markets.

The role offers a broad range of responsibilities, including business planning and financial management, market and data analysis, targeting key sectors and jurisdictions, and working alongside partners and senior professionals to support events, conferences, seminars and sponsorship activities that enhance the firm's profile and market presence.

To be considered, candidates must have experience within the legal sector, specifically supporting Corporate and Investment Funds practices. Whilst applications from other professional services backgrounds will be considered, candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant exposure to the corporate and funds market, together with strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this sector.

The successful candidate will have experience engaging with senior stakeholders and partners, managing legal directory submissions, supporting the preparation of pitches and proposals, monitoring and updating budgets, and delivering a variety of business development and marketing initiatives. Strong relationship-building skills, stakeholder management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential.

You'll be a confident and collaborative professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, can build credibility with senior stakeholders, and is capable of contributing strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver day-to-day business development activities. Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the corporate and funds arena must be clearly demonstrated through your previous experience.
