Insurance Underwriter

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insurance candidate to join a growing underwriting team within a well established Insurance Firm!  As a key member of the Commercial Underwriting team the majority of your time will be spent delivering underwriting decisions, and you will work alongside the brokers to identify, discuss, negotiate and convert new and existing business opportunities, making effective decisions with oversight of risk assessment and management.

The role is ideally aimed at someone with existing underwriting experience, but consideration would be given to individuals with some insurance experience who are keen to get into this area. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work under own initiative to deadlines and committed to providing excellent customer service. The successful applicant will have great potential for career development, and will receive full support in pursuing professional studies.
