Portfolio Manager - Insurance

Experienced Insurance professional required to lead the strategic and tactical development and performance of a portfolio of risks, in line with agreed business strategy and performance targets. The main focus of the role is to led the development and management of portfolios, using an understanding of KPIs to identify actions required, and providing technical knowledge and expertise at case level across the portfolio. 

As part of the management team you will also be instrumental in operational planning and implementation, business development and team management. 

The successful applicant will ideally hold insurance qualifications, and must have a strong academic background.  Trading underwriting skills are essential, and candidates must be able to demonstrate strong understanding of the marketplace and competitors, commercial awareness and leadership skills.
