Head of Employment Law

We are seeking a candidate with significant experience in employment law to take principle charge of the Employment Team and employment law matters spanning both Jersey and Guernsey within a reputable legal firm.  You will provide technical legal advice to clients across a number of practice areas, primarily litigation and financial services, delegating work to more junior staff where appropriate and ensuring the a high quality, timely and professional service is offered to meet client requirements. 

The role will also require you to identify and follow through any opportunities to grow and develop the business by initiating, developing and maintaining client and intermediary relationships, proactively driving change and assisting the business to deliver its overall strategic plans. 

Applicants will need excellent technical ability and in depth knowledge of employment law, ideally within Jersey and/or Guernsey.  You should be able to demonstrate delegation and supervisory experience, along with business development acumen, a client focused approach and strong communication skills.
