Senior Legal Counsel

Our client is seeking an experienced candidate to be a core member of their in-house legal team, where you will be responsible for the provision of legal advice to the Board and Senior Management, working closely with client-facing employees and external advisers in relation to legal matters arising in the day-to-day administration of complex high-value fiduciary structures. 

Candidates must have demonstrable experience in private practice or in-house legal within trust, and must have a good understanding of the codes, guidelines and expectations of the JFSC. You will need knowledge of trust and company law, and sound understanding of fiduciary structures and functions. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to identify and manage risk, and to act with integrity and discretion. Applicants should be able to project manage, and must be able to work collaboratively with a positive approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
