Contract - Financial Controller

A highly established professional services provider is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join its finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a varied and senior finance position, supporting the wider finance function and managing a team. Responsibilities will include the preparation and review of financial statements, oversight of tax computations, statutory and tax reporting, reconciliations, maintaining ledger integrity, payroll payments and driving process improvement initiatives.

Applicants should hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), together with relevant post-qualification experience. Strong technical knowledge of tax reporting is essential, including tax computation preparation, withholding tax calculations and disclosures, GST and VAT analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, together with the ability to support change and continuous improvement within a busy and evolving finance environment.
