Senior Accountant

Qualified Accountant required to take on a varied new role, supporting the company's Local Business Services Manager in delivering high quality accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio, including both commercial and financial services companies.

Alongside preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts and tax computations/returns, you will also be a day-to-day contact for clients, build strong relationships both with clients and internally, support with business development, and train and mentor junior team members. 

Applicants are required to hold a professional accountancy qualification, supported by 3-7 years PQE, and ideally experience in the local regulatory environment, fund accounting or fiduciary services. You will need a strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102), financial instruments and fair value concepts, and the ability to interpret complex structures and transactions.
